Because I've been sewing and freaking out. :)
Got garb done today (yes,
caitlindancer, I will have NEW garb for Midsummers! *gasp*) - my new dancing caftan and pants. I love Nedra's patterns - sooooo easy. I think the only thing I'm going to change on the next set is I'm going to drop the crotch on the pants a bit - I like mine higher on my hips. But that's it. I made dancing pants and a caftan in about 2.5 hours. In silk cotton - soooo light and soft! I'm very happy with them - now they just need trim. Too bad
freya46 only had pastel fruity colors for it - I'd have gotten
argus7hills some and made him some shirts, but really, they aren't his colors. ;)
Looking forward to this weekend - gotta roast some garlic tomorrow for a yummy marinade for steak this weekend. Here it is:
Ingrediants:
2 heads of garlic, roasted
1 cup orange juice
1/2 cup spicy mustard
4 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon thyme
I have some lemon thyme growing out on my balcony that I'm going to use in this - I'll let you all know how it tastes!
