GNEW wrapup - the short version

Friday night - got to the site at 4 am. Yes, 4 am. Stayed up until 8:30 am.

Saturday: Got up at 10:30 am. Swam in the pool. Was generally pretty lazy. Went shopping with Her Excellency. Got Baronial permission to skip Royal Court (yay!). Helped out with Baronial Court. Made yummy pork chops. Listened to silly stories at the fire, ate way too many marshmallows and went to bed by midnight. Never made it to the gypsy party.

Sunday: Got fabric and trim for argus7hills's new tunic. Got Canadian Coke (yum!) from freya47. Went to Old Town with baby bro and sil, to see new baby's room. Went to bed by 10 pm.

Monday: Had breakfast with sil, then drove from upstate ME to Merrimack. Reassured kittens that I was still alive, then went to work.

Note to self: you are not 19 anymore

This means that you cannot run for four days on approximately 10 hours of sleep, and drive for 6+ hours at a time. Just so you know.

Well, I have officially taken a recovery day today. I called in sick to work, because well, my hair hurts. That's how tired I am. And that's after a 3+ hour nap when I got back from dropping the car off at o-god thirty 7:30 am this morning in Northwood, so it could get a new timing belt.

I stopped and got stuff for dinner, came home and said, "I'll just take a two-hour nap." At 3.5 hours, I hauled my ass out of bed, found my cell phone and gave up. Literally. Called in and told them I would be in tomorrow. Then stared at the tv for 10 minutes before I realized it wasn't on.

Oh, yeah. Definitely NOT a day to be in work.

So here's my list of what I would like to accomplish today. The only critical one is Number 8. For obvious reasons.

To Do List:

1. Update LJ
2. Do at least 2 hours of editing on vampire book
3. 1k in Seasons
4. Balance Checkbook
5. Start Rhiannon's character sheet
6. 1k in Dreams
7. 2 summaries for June
8. SLEEP!

ETA: Got a few things done. Also got about 300 words in Seasons before I crashed. But today, I'm rarin' to go! Go me!
