The sad thing is, this puts me behind today. Oh well. Maybe I'll luck out and get my day off tomorrow, so it won't matter.

We'll pause for hysterical laughter, then move on.

The to-do list today:

- Grocery run for GNEW (chicken, salad fixings, eggs)
- Fold laundry
- Drop off library books
- Pack kitchen box for GNEW
- Pack garb boxes for GNEW
- Go to Craft Night to decant Killian's
- Clean up kitchen
~~- Finish ghawazi coat~~ and start sewing shirt

Yep, that's the off day. *sigh* Ah well. Time to finish breakfast and get my arse in gear.

Edited to add: Done for the night. Still need to add socks to Argus' box and poufy pants to mine (and dammit, why can I not find my blue pants???? Must look down cellar), and pack the cold cooler, but we're as done as I can be.

The prelude to Pennsic has come and gone again. I didn't do some of what I wanted, had some good experiences - didn't drink (other than trying my brother's amazingly yummy blueberry mead!!!), and actually wrote. I'll post my metrics in a separate post, though.

Friday night - got to the site at 4 am. Yes, 4 am. Stayed up until 8:30 am.

Saturday: Got up at 10:30 am. Swam in the pool. Was generally pretty lazy. Went shopping with Her Excellency. Got Baronial permission to skip Royal Court (yay!). Helped out with Baronial Court. Made yummy pork chops. Listened to silly stories at the fire, ate way too many marshmallows and went to bed by midnight. Never made it to the gypsy party.

Sunday: Got fabric and trim for

argus7hills's new tunic. Got Canadian Coke (yum!) from

freya47. Went to Old Town with baby bro and sil, to see new baby's room. Went to bed by 10 pm.

Monday: Had breakfast with sil, then drove from upstate ME to Merrimack. Reassured kittens that I was still alive, then went to work.

Well, I'm getting there. I'm hoping to have #7 and #1 done tonight (if the phones stay slow). Food is tomorrow, as is dowel. I'm bringing my banner and Lily's dress to GNEW, so the rest is pretty optional. I'd like to fix my pants, but I'm not sure that's going to happen. *sigh*

Tomorrow is pack the garb box (fairly quick, as

argus7hills folded everything for me, thank you sweetie!), go to the grocery store and pack the cooler.

Then I'm driving up to GNEW after work. Yeah, I work until midnight - so I'll see you all around what, 3 or 4 am? :D

ETA: Finished the book cover. Muwhahaha - it is PERFECT. :D
ETA2: Finished the tabard as well. Might even *gasp* finish some of the other stuff I need to do.

But I have the book cover almost done, and the tabard almost done. Tomorrow is buy the steaks and marinate them, along with the rest of the food. And I got more herbed cheese mix! Yummy, yummy. Have to buy a BIG tub of cream cheese for that.
