Well, here it is.
To Do Before GNEW:
1. Finish
argus7hills’s new tabard
2. Buy steaks and marinate them in the roasted garlic sauce
3. Trim new dancing caftan
4. Fix pink dancing pants
5. Make coin dancing scarf
6. Buy dowels for the banners
7. Finish
freya47’s book cover
8. Start sewing my banner
9. Get Nedra’s camp stove
10. Fix my fencing doublet
11. Get the rest of the food for GNEW.
12. Clean out car
13. Do budget and pay bills.
14. Finish Lily's new dress.
Well, I'm getting there. I'm hoping to have #7 and #1 done tonight (if the phones stay slow). Food is tomorrow, as is dowel. I'm bringing my banner and Lily's dress to GNEW, so the rest is pretty optional. I'd like to fix my pants, but I'm not sure that's going to happen. *sigh*
Tomorrow is pack the garb box (fairly quick, as
argus7hills folded everything for me, thank you sweetie!), go to the grocery store and pack the cooler.
Then I'm driving up to GNEW after work. Yeah, I work until midnight - so I'll see you all around what, 3 or 4 am? :D
ETA: Finished the book cover. Muwhahaha - it is PERFECT. :D
ETA2: Finished the tabard as well. Might even *gasp* finish some of the other stuff I need to do.

Re: hhheeeeyyyyyyy
I need your opinion on the prophecy I'm working on. The way I see it, there's the actual prophecy, which is something simple like: "The coming of the Child will bring a Golden Age for the Earth, after horrid struggle. Those who survive will be glorified."
The House of Commons and the common folk read it as: "The coming of the Child will raise up the common folk to the level of the Lords, who shall be destroyed in the process, and all shall be golden."
The House of Lords read it as: "The coming of the Child will usher in a Golden Age for the aristocracy who survive the horrors, and they shall rule benevolently over the commons, as they always have."
The Tower reads it as: "The coming of the Child will signal a Golden Age for the Talents, after the nonTalented have been crushed and destroyed."
The Church reads it as: "The coming of the Child will bring healing and light and prosperity to the Empire, and will destroy all its enemies."
The Templars read it as: "The integration of the Child will heal the broken land, after a time of testing."
What do you think?

I have snippets & details of the prophesy rattling in my mind including a parallel to The Rapture(it's the anal Catholic in me. This is since I don't like my characters to have an easy clean happy ending. At least not a happy ending THEY want. ;)
