Last night, I realized that I had no earthly clue where this book was going. I knew what the eventual end would be, but I had no way to get there. So, it's time to bite the bullet (I'm saying that a lot lately) and do a chapter outline. My hat is off to you folks who can plow through writing a book without knowing what comes next. I end up with a mess of chapters and no discernable storyline.

So today is outline day. More progess in later posts.

It's very hard to write a coherent sequel when you forget to put a major character from Book One into Book Two.

*sigh*

I just want to say up front that I love my publisher.

I've been having wicked problems with Dark Moon Seasons. Wicked problems.

So today, I caught Gwen on Skype, talked out the problems, and got an extension. New deadline: January 2008.

*wipes sweat from her brow*

Now I can write, without trying to kill myself over this. So here's the project list and deadlines:

- Dark Moon Seasons: New rough draft to editor by Oct. 1
- Finish non-fic chapter on magical creatures - due by August 31
- Finish Blood Sacrifice by Oct. 15th
- Submit proposals for The Edgewood Trilogy to Gwen this fall

Now back to work.

Dragon Moon Press announces merger with Edge SFF

This makes my publisher the biggest independent publisher in Canada. Woohoo! I'm very happy to be associated with DMP.

Yay, Gwen!
