Most Successful Pirate was a Woman

That's because we women know what's important in life. And dying isn't part of it.

I hope I get to retire and start a gambling house.

To-Do list for today:
1. Change sheets/make bed -done, and kittens were SOOO happy!
2. Make dinner -lasagna and garlic peas and mushrooms
3. Make massage appointment for [livejournal.com profile] argus7hills -email sent - waiting to hear back.
4. Make ortho appointment for [livejournal.com profile] argus7hills and get referral -done, and done
5. Pay Dell bill (again!) -done, finally. Stupid mail - our payment got returned by the post office, because one mail center got overwhelmed. And of course, Dell didn't want to hear about it. But it's done, and paid.
6. Update budget -done! We're set for the next 4 months now as far as what bill is paid when. And we can even eat on it!
7. Get laundry together to wash tomorrow -done, for the most part.
8. Balance checkbook
9. Start synopsis for Seasons -started. I think this is what I needed. And 80s music helps.
10. TAKE MEDS!!! -I have to get better at this. I really do.
11. Send out email on Donna's potluck for Friday.
12. Start looking into birthday stuff for [livejournal.com profile] argus7hills
13. Start Christmas card list
14. Work on Alicia's blanket. -got about 3" done on it. I'm doing strips so I can work on them at work. And I'll need another skein of white soon.

Wow. That's a lot!!! But I got a ton done already, so now it's off to read more LJ and then crochet.

Edit One: I don't know that I'll get to birthday/Christmas stuff tonight. I'm trying to get a bunch of prewriting done.

Yeah, I got bored with Kyoto Midnight. It was pretty, but it's time for a change. This one is simply called Raven. I likes it. It fits with what I'm feeling right now.

Why is this book so hard to write? *sobs in the corner for a bit* I don't understand. I love these characters. I know, for the most part, what needs to happen. So why can't I write it?

Grr. Got a bit done on the synopsis at lunch. I'm about ready to work on it a bit more now (my hands can't crochet for too long) - going to plug a CD into the computer, and get the QuickPad out. I'm trying to figure out what exactly is going on in the book, so I can finish the timeline.

It's entirely possible that I'm overthinking everything, because I'm all stressed about it. I might see if [livejournal.com profile] suelder can help me figure out what the heck I'm doing wrong this weekend.

Oh, in good news - I'm out at 9 pm on Friday! Yay! Which means I'll be in Allanstown by 10, I hope. I'm very excited by this.

Well, back to the grind.

Well, okay, it doesn't suck, but I'm bored and I can't concentrate at work and I wanna go home. I also want my book to be written (I've abandoned my synopsis for a bit, as I'm going to plow ahead with my timeline once it goes up on the computer, where I can see it) and I want a ton of time to just sew.

I've discovered that when I'm timelining, I keep referring to things that happened before, so the QuickPad gets irritating quickly, because I have to keep paging up.

New plan: bring book to work on at work, and work on timeline when I get home. We'll see.
