Okay, so it's taken me a while to update this. I'm sorry - the con's kept me busy! :p

Argus and I flew in Thursday night - apparently I can't get from Manchester, NH to Richmond, VA without going to Charlotte, NC first. No, I don't understand it either. But there it is.

Friday, we had the panel at Monacan High School. What a blast! [livejournal.com profile] shadowhelm, me, [livejournal.com profile] nightwolfrider, Jean Marie Ward, Jana , Bryan Prinderville and Tee Morris. The kids were great, as always, and we rectified the situation that Monacan Library didn't have a copy of Horseman. Tragedy! It has been rectified.

Then it was back to the con. Argus was sucked into the gaming room all day - he's there now, actually, playing Classic Battletech. My first panel was a great one, even if we didn't have any actual audience for most of it. "If You Build It, They Will Come - Fantasy and Baseball." They had a Red Sox fan, a Mets fan and a Yankees fan on the panel. We didn't need an audience! :p

Tony's mystery panel was a BLAST! Talk about silly! The questions were outrageous and there was much mirth. Then it was off to parties.

I had a big bottle of rum. I had two shot glasses. Much mayhem was committed.

Nikki now has a shot named for her. To make Death, mix three parts vodka, two parts gin, one part tequila and one part Sprite. It's clear, it's elegent and it kicks like a mule. Just like Nikki. Thanks to Bryan (with a Y) for that one! (And congrats to him and his fiancee Sarah too!)

This morning, I was up at 10 am for a 12 pm panel on alternative history. Since Treaty could be considered alt history, this was fun. Then I had a great signing with Elizabeth Massie (SOOO MUCH FUN!) and then went to lunch with Argus. Back for the Quick Write panel (good lord, those should be illegal, we were laughing so hard). I have a pirate panel (I think) tonight at 11, and then more parties. Which is why I'm writing now.

More later.
