The movie, not me, silly peoples. I'll let my family know that first when it happens, not LJ. :p

Very cute movie. Same people who did 40-Year-Virgin, so I was expecting funny. It had some "AWWW" moments too, though. I enjoyed it.

Then went and picked up Argus' elbows from Dad, then home to write. And watch the Red Sox beat the Giants again. (LOVE my DVR!)

Hey, [livejournal.com profile] liamstliam, what's the magic number now? :D

Diamond Notes

I have to say for the record that while I commend your Sox's win, I feel badly for Matt Cain. Really, really badly. He's now 2-7, and only made one bad pitch the entire game. This is exactly what happened to him the last two times he played Oakland, and his record looks a hell of a lot worse than he really is (sub-3.50 ERA, great strikeout to walk ratio). For whatever reason, this guy just cannot get any run support behind him and it's a shame, as he has a really bright future. I hope he either gets dealt to a decent team or his guys finally start supporting him.

Oh yeah, and Okajima is a buchu nice find for you guys. Good scouting on that one. See you in the playoffs!

I agree, re: Cain. We had the same problem last year, with Schilling. He's pitching a beaut now (Cain is - I'm watching the DVR), and it sucks that he can't get the runs.

See you in the playoffs!
