Woot!

I actually went out on my lunch break and worked on the timeline more. I'm doing a timeline of stuff that happens in the months of November and December (the timeframe Seasons is set in) so I know what the background is. Some of the stuff is actually happening in a different book all together (the second Edgewood book), but since both series intertwine, it's good to know what's going on.

This process has gotten me to realize how really seat-of-the-pants I wrote Horseman, and how I could have really potentially screwed myself. Thank everything I woke up and realized that I needed to make a serious effort to plot everything out.

November's going to be an interesting month - I'm writing the first Shanna novel (Descent into Darkness) for NaNo, so I can start working on it. Oh, and I have dates!!! Publication dates, sillies.

Dark Moon Seasons will be out February 2009, and Last Rites, the final book in the trilogy, will be out May 2010. Now, before you boohoo too much, there may be something special coming out in the Horseman universe in 2008 - and that's all I'll say! :)

More later tonight.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who writes on lunch break!

Oh no. I actually got an H45 QuickPad just so I could write outside. :) I love using my lunchtime to write - it's peaceful (we have a gorgeous campus at work) and I can actually get outside for some air.

Excellent. I am hitting replotting hell because I did not plot as well for Crow that Fell as I thought. Granted, I also thought it was going to be traditional fantasy, and it turned into dystopian science fantasy. *shrug* Gimme a call this weekend if you want. I'll be around most of the day on saturday.

Same number?

And yeah, I hate replotting. But I'm finding out all sorts of interesting things that are going on in the background of the book.

And do you write Trad Fantasy??? :p

I tried! God I tried!
I mean, Legend of Zelda + Tori Amos' Boys for Pele was my starting point. What about that doesn't say Trad Fant?

erm...
