It's BEAUTIFUL! My landlord was up early this morning putting it in, and by about 3 pm, the adhesive will be dry and it will be DONE.

Then I can start things like laundry.

So here's my to-do list this weekend:

1. Fold the laundry in the living room-Now it just needs to be put away.
2. Finish my damn chapter (finally!)
3. 10k on Seasons
4. Get Dreams printed out (I might need to get a printer cartridge for this, I think we're out)
5. Vacuum the living room
6. Four loads of laundry
7. Make zucchini bread tonight (when it's not as hot)
8. fill my need for musicals

I've already watched Idlewild (which I enjoyed) and I'm watching Chicago now. I adore this musical.

Okay, folding laundry. Back later.

I can't recall if I said anything or not. So I say it here. When you have the time. I was wondering if you could give me a status on Broken Wings? I know I am presently prepping for my wedding and all and I got back from DC (woohoo!) I just thought I would keep myself open to do the comic and not draw anything else. Is that still okay with you?
How is the status?

Re: tangent

That's fine. I'm still waiting to hear back from you and Mike on ways we could stretch the opening story. I've got a friend who's done scripts for theatre - she and I are going to see if we can fix my scriptwriting issues and what else we can come up with.

How's wedding plans coming?

Re: tangent

I sent you a letter about expanding the plot and you replied to it. I was just waiting for what you came up with. But if you are looking for me to write something and send it your way, I'll do it. Sorry for the miscommunication. :I

As for the preparations, Phil and I have already have the mailing list done and what WE would like the wedding to be like. Now I have to deal with reality, money and my parents. ;)

Re: tangent

Ah, I thought you were going to talk to Mike about it. *shakes head at self* Sorry, I misunderstood.

Let me get together with my script friend and see what we can do. I'll email you guys in a little while.

And good luck with the preparations! One bit of advice: choose what you REALLY want, and be willing to give a bit on the other stuff. Weddings are all about compromise.

Hmm, are we talking replacement of that weird vomit-coloured shag carpet? that stuff freaked me out when I first saw it. Congrats on flooring upgrade either way!

Hmm, you haven't been over since we moved in, so you haven't seen the new carpet. This is actually the kitchen floor, which was so nasty it wasn't even funny. Now the kitchen looks gorgeous, and the carpet (which is brown and very soft) goes much better with it.

Re: tangent

Well I was waiting for Mike, but like I said, he is being a spaz as of late, So I sent my opinion your way. Like, I said, I would love to write a little and see what you think and modify/change to your likings.
