Although I suppose that's what I get for trying to set up another computer to my router at 1 am. Bleah. Well, Argus' computer works. That's all that really matters now. I'll fix the rest of the damn network when I'm not completely aggravated and exhausted.
Because now the damn router doesn't want to work. AT ALL. So I've taken his computer off and hooked it up directly to the modem, and I'll call Belkin when I get a chance.
F**king network.

I loved my Linksys, but the Belkin is actually a more secure model, according to the reports I read before I went and bought it.

Check your router location. This is going to sound strange BUT... portable telephones and other wireless items can cause irratic behavior. I was having problems with my Linksys router, called my ISP and fianlly called LinkSys. First my router had to be at least 5 feet from my computer. AND it had to be 5 feet away from phones. Seems everything works on 2.4Ghz and confuses one another.
I moved the router away from the computer and the "mother" phone base (which was one the other side of the wall in the LR) away from the wall. Everything works now. I also have the phone base located so I can use my laptop in the LR.
G'luck.

I described the problems to a tech friend of mine, and she seems to think that I somehow set Hubby's computer up to be a server, which I wasn't trying to do. *sigh* She's going to try and fix it for me this weekend.
This is what I get for trying to set this up at 2 am...
