Going to be running tomorrow - gotta get back up to my house and grab some things, then off to the library to do some research so I can finish this damn article, then to work. Bleah. hakerh, I did get your thesis and I'm going to read it at work tomorrow if I have free time, okay? If not, I'll get it back to you by the end of the weekend.

Schedules just came out - OT next Monday, and then Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday the week after. My bill balance will be happy. I, on the other hand, will not be. I hate working OT, but I love the money. I might even be able to afford a wee bit from BPAL (since I now have a list a mile long that I want to try. Evil, evil website!) after that. And I'll be able to pay credit card down, which is a GOOD thing.

*sigh* I wish I had a vacation day or two I could a) take now and b) use to write with. I'm starting to go nuts. Thank you to everyone who critted Sacrifice - I've printed it out and will be going over it and crits in the next few days.

And now, to bed. I'm thinking I might just treat myself to pancakes tomorrow morning - I'm jonesing for them now (thank you, Kurt!).

I hear you on overtime. I'm happy giving my 40 hours. But I have to really love the workplace to do any overtime. Luckily, with my current position, while overtime is an option, it's my opinion that if I need overtime, it's because I was goofing off too much during my regular hours, and the company doesn't owe me compensation.

(More luckily, this hasn't happened yet.)

Also, if you go to BPAL.org and register, you can find people selling imps and bottles, usually at reduced cost since they are "used".

Seriously - I'm about to put my list in an Excel spreadsheet (yes, I'm that anal) and then I'll send it to you. I'm serious, it's wicked long.

Our OT is because it's Annual Enrollment - mandatory. Bleah. Oh well, I get a shift differential too right now, so it's good for the bank account! (Until my next BPAL order, that is)

I'm up to 60-odd samples, and still has about as many more on my list to get... so I'm not really fazed.
