Twelve hour shifts suck.

A lot.

They mean I get SQUAT done on the other stuff, because, well, I'm at work for 12+ hours. Ah well, AE only comes once a year.

So yesterday, the first day of 70 Days of Sweat, I worked a 12 hour shift and got NO writing done. Today, I'm trying to pick up the pieces.

The to-do list today:

- catch up on email for the moment
- finish my damn chapter I think I have everything I need to finish it. Just got to write the damn ending. I'm so close to being done that I can taste it. I might seriously just stay up tonight and finish it.
- finish hakerh's thesis at work
- start my scene outline for Darkness
- start my character list for Darkness
- start looking at Sacrifice and the crits I got (thank you again, all!)
- send BPAL list to shadawyn! Done!

To top it off, the power flickered and I overslept. BUT, it's a beautiful day, I don't have to make dinner for me and I feel like I can do this. So off we go!

Hehe - I'm more than willing to help, but the end of this year is rough. Can I start in January? I've got to get a bunch of stuff out, but I could probably pick up an author or two next year.

That would be the earliest we'd need you since we wanted you for line editing. The biggest thing we're doing now is figuring out what our process will be, the style sheet, and all that. You're more than welcome to chime in. :)

I've been really lucky and never had to work a shift that long, but just staying past 8 hours when I have to is agonizing, so you have my sympathies. ♥
