But I loved the storytelling aspect of it. Very cool.

I get what you're saying, but I think any other ending would have been cheating. It's not that kind of story, and the second half of the season is meant to turn expectations on their head.

I understand and I totally see that, but the little girl inside of me who keeps insisting that if you do the right thing, you get rewarded, keeps saying that Duck got cheated. (Also not trying to be spoilery) :)
