Personal: I wonder if I'm allergic to one of the fillers in this version of the generic vicodan, because today I'm still nauseous and I haven't taken the naproxen since yesterday morning. Either that, or my body is just on a weird kick and deciding to revolt against everything put into it. (No, I'm not pregnant. This I know for positive.) So I'm here with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, hoping that will help (it seems to be - maybe I'm just hungry), and hubby has promised me McDonald's for lunch.

Writing: Not a lot yesterday, and I'm concerned that this novel might be longer than the first. Oh well - I have 150,000 words to play with. I'll just keep going and we'll see. No use shooting myself in the foot before I go.

And for all those writing urban fantasy with a "street kid," I'd highly recommend heading over to [livejournal.com profile] kaigou's and reading her street kid entries. Very eye-opening.

Writing today. Lots of writing. Dr's appointment tomorrow.

*HUGS* Hope you feel better soon! And glad you're able to get a lot of writing done in the meantime!

BTW, some intersting news...[livejournal.com profile] emmalyon and I were up in Santa Rosa on Saturday and stopped at the Mysterious Future Bookstore (Mystery/SF new and used), and lo and behold what did I see there? One of your Complete Guide to Writing Fantasy books! :p

(...and did I actually buy it? Umm...no? :p Eh--I'll probably be ordering it and the other books from you at a future point anyway... ;) )

Coolness! I love to hear stories like that! :p

And let me know if you'd like a PDF of any of them - I have them. ;)
