My Quickpad is dead. :(

It won't start, and I don't know how much QuickPad will charge me to fix it. I don't have anything on it, but still. I was looking forward to bringing Puck to StellarCon.

Well, I start looking at eBay again, and I'll do some other searches on the web. I only paid $17.99 for Puck, so I'm not really willing to spend that much to fix him, especially since he's 11 years old and the tech support was shocked he was still working when I called last summer. :p

I'm wondering if it's just been too cold for him. He got left in my car a couple of nights ago and he was very slow to start. Like I said, he's 11 years old, so he might have just given up the ghost.

Oh well. I'll have Cassandra (the laptop) with me at StellarCon. But Puck would have been nice for the plane.

*sigh*

Just a thought, but I'm assuming you tried switching out the batteries? That's really odd that it just up and died like that, even if it was 11 years old.

Yep. Put brand new batteries in, and still nothing. :(

What about leaving in the toasty house, or in the toasty benefits center to slowly warm up? :)
