Just sent off for information on several paralegal programs in my area. Gods help me, I think I really am going back to school.

And yes, I have started the Eowyn Challenge - I'm a mile out, and have just left the lane in Bag End. I'm hoping to make it to the gym tomorrow.

I seem to feel better when I hit the gym, so I think we'll be trying to go and walk every morning next week. We'll see.

thanks! I think it's about time I dusted myself off and tried something new.

*nods* I've been kicking around the idea of grad school myself lately. Maybe this is a good trend?

Personal growth is always a good trend! Now if I can only remember that myself... :)

Best of luck with the paralegal programs! Sometimes I wonder if I should go and try to get some kind of technical degree, as I have an art degree and a technical career, but I haven't been able to convince myself it's worth the time and money yet. But I'll probably need to eventually if I plan to move much further up :)

Oooh! The Eowyn Challenge! I check it out every once and a while because of [livejournal.com profile] mizkit's journal, but never quite get started. I should do it this time around. For sure. There's a walking trail near my apartment that was one of the reasons I was excited about moving there, and I've used it like three times in about as many years. *sigh*

Thanks! I have a BA in Poli Sci, but got derailed from career plans. I've been thinking a lot lately and realized I really want to get back into the way I wanted to go. This is my first steps. We'll see how it goes. :)

I'm going to switch to biking mine - I think it will be easier on my knee as I keep recovering. We'll see...how the heck did Frodo do 18 miles on his first day???

I think somewhere on the site it says that Hobbits are much hardier than humans (even if they have shorter legs). They also had all day to walk. They didn't have day jobs and families ;)

Darn those day jobs! Although technically, they did have families...

Hooray for you! Feel free to ask me any questions you might have. And welcome to the dark side! ;)
