My minor was physics - with a fascination in cosmology and particle physics. And Mishu Kaku (who explains string theory and robots very well) is fascinating to listen to/ read.

My exboyfriend has PhD in astrophysics and is actually a fantastic teacher. He can make astrophysics make sense to someone with no math skills (like me). If you need some help, he would probably be willing to help you out. I can email him and ask if you'd like.
