So, I finally went to the doctor's today. The verdict is:

A raging sinus infection with aspirations of becoming walking pneumonia.

I now rattle when I walk from all the medications. I have two inhalers, an antibiotic and a nasal spray. Hopefully this will take care of everything and I can get on with life.

Hopefully.

Now to write - she wanted me to take tomorrow off, but I can't. I'm taking it easy this weekend, though - the law has been laid down, and I must comply. :p

Time to write more.

I'm glad you got lots of medicine.

Please add my vote to the doctor's about staying home. Pneumonia isn't anything to push yourself on. I did it once (hey, I'm a black belt, I'm tough!) and ended on my ass for over a week drinking one Odwalla juice a day and unable to even watch TV. It took 2 months to be declared healthy -- typical for pneumonia. After experience, I fully understand why it's like the 5th leading killer in the US>

Warning: Sarcasm Ahead

Worrywort. It only took me a week of bedrest and heavy antibiotics to stop coughing up blood and phlegm. And only another week to be comfortable breathing. Pneumonia's easy.

I'm going to take it easy this weekend. Unfortunately, there was no vacation available today, which means I'd have to take it unpaid. Monday was unpaid as it was, so I didn't have much of a choice.

I'm taking the weekend off, so hopefully I'll get plenty of sleep.

Yeah - I vote stay home. I'd prefer to be home than around the jerk anyday - and sickness is totally an excuse - especially with a dr's note

Yeah, but it's not paid. :p No vacation time available today.

You might also want to try to get some acidophilous at your pharmacy or the crunchy-hippie section of your grocery store. It'll help with both infections and make sure your other medications don't mess with your pH. Candida albicans sucks, especially when everything else is going to pot.

Get better soon.

I'll definitely look into it - I hate yeast infections.

Thanks!
