Okay, here's the very, very first clip with the new mixer board. I'll be playing with this over the next few weeks and should hopefully have the novel going very, very soon.

Voice sounds great! Had some trouble with the volume though - had to turn it all the way up and it was still really quiet but that might be a my machine thing and not the clip itself :)

I also had trouble with the volume. I couldn't hear it on the laptop, but Win media player did play something - the visual patterns were nice.

Yup, you're going to get better at this - just need to play around with the mic more b/c I had the speaker up all the way and couldn't hear.
