Seriously, though, the street IS pretty. We're a dead end, and the only streetlight is down the road, so we really do look like Old Tyme New England right now. Hard to believe there was a main road with fairly brisk traffic on it right behind me when you look at that picture.

I'm going to try. AAA associate, you know. But we'll see. If it's still snowing, I might call in again on Monday. I don't want to, but I'm not risking death to go into work.

Luckily, hubby is off and has it all paid, so it's not horrible if I don't go in. But I'd rather not stay in the house that long...*sigh*

Ooh, preeeetty! I can feel my nose and cheeks freezing as I try to shovel that driveway!

Of course, this also reminds me of the days of yore when I and a few friends would head to the nearest hilly street (or better yet, a hilly path in the woods) and spend hours sledding. Okay, I need to make a post about that now... :p
