(personal) Checking in

Mexico is gorgeous. The weather is perfect, and so are the drinks! Honestly, we´re having the best time - we went snorkeling today and it was so cool! I´m doing a log of our trip - I´ll post it when we get back (internet is limited and I didn´t bring the laptop!), so I´ll just wave to everyone back home and mention briefly that it´s 85 degrees F today!

I am dumb and can't figure out how to message you on here so I will ask you now. I am planning on joining the Peace Corp after college and I know you were talking about that thing you had that was only a word processor, like instead of your laptop. Is that by any chance battery operated? Or can you get one that is? I ask this because I don't want to stop writing while I'm there and I have about 1.5 years before I'm gonna apply and I'd like to have that on my to-buy list if it is battery operated since electricity will be an issue there.

It runs on 3 AA batteries. :D It´s called an Alphasmart Neo and it´s lovely - I have it down here with me in Mexico.
