I started the plot synopsis for Last Rites tonight. For those who aren't familiar with my creative process, I do a full plot synopsis, then a major scenes outline, then a chapter outline. Yes, it's a lot of work. But my drafts are tight and pretty clean.

Word count tonight: 779

I've got three scenes down, and working on a fourth. What I need to do over the next three days is read over Dark Moon Seasons and pick up the plot threads that I need to wrap up in this book. And hopefully, re-reading will give me more scene ideas as well.

I have the ending for LR, though. I know how the final scenes will unwind.

I just need to get there first.

In other news, this was my first writing session at the studio. It went very well! I'm happy.

Good night, LJ.
