We did not like the Jim Carrey version. It altered the meaning, making the Whos materialistic and the Grinch merely misunderstood.
I love the cartoon! I've played her clip serveral times while I'm writing today. (I'm writing a scene in which a red cap in a WWII fighter plane defends Santa Claus from German attack over London. The song seems to fit. ;-)
