Kind of writing related question - if I'm working on something I plan to submit to you as an editor, is it bad form to bring that to writing group and let you see it before it's done?
I'm fine with you reading it as an embryo. Just didn't want to make sure it wasn't going to make you twitchy about critting something you're eventually going to decide whether or not to buy. Some people might see that as kind of getting a leg up on the competition.
Meh, don't worry about that. I'm the editor - and I think you know that I'm not going to include you if I don't think the story fits what I'm looking for. This is (right now) a project that I'm hitting my friends up for, so technically, you guys all have a leg up on the folks who don't know about it yet. So don't worry. :)
