It's raining here. Again.

I feel like a freaking mushroom.

But enough complaining. It's just been that kind of week.

BBM's investiture was rainy, but fun. I had a blast being the Herald for the Challenge Tourney - I'm sure some of those gentles (Wulfere, for one) will NEVER let me decide their challenges again, but hey, that's what you get for telling me to "be creative." Hehehehe...

Oh, and at Midsummer's, ask the Baron to demonstrate his favorite weapons form. It's worth it! ;)

However, Saturday night was not so fun. [livejournal.com profile] argus7hills's car got used as a parking spot by an Isuzu Rodeo. Needless to say, the Taurus didn't fair well being a parking spot. To make matters worse, the guy driving the Rodeo left it there. I'll upload some pictures later.

So, the Taurus is in the shop. I have a rental. I have to put the deposit for the rental on my credit card, which is attached to my bank account. This means all sorts of fun with money, especially since the Taurus wasn't totalled, so until they find the guy and squeeze his insurance, we have to come up with the deductible. Which is $1k.

SOOOOO, the event schedule is changing. Right now, we've cancelled Vinland Raids and Boredom War ([livejournal.com profile] liamstliam, I'll still be sending a bottle down for the auction.) Glenn Lynn is up in the air - we really want to go, but we have to see how money is.

At least my migraine is gone! And we're still going to Midsummer's.

See you all there!

Yeah, he wasn't in the car. It was parked in a spot on the street, and he was up in the house, visiting a friend.

Well good news on the migraine anyhow! What's the scoop on the landlord? Everything OK now?

Yeah, we got that all straightened out - I talked to the manager up there, and apparently someone jumped the gun. We're all set.

This goes beyond mud. I swear I saw an old man asking about cubits in the hardware store the other day.

Bummer, that sucks about the Taurus.
Hope the catch the bugger that did it.
Glad no one got hurt. Hope it's all better soon
and we get to see some sunshine darn it!
We'll see you at Midsummer's Were probably day tripping due to the rain.

Only 30% chance of rain - I'm being positive.

It will not rain all weekend. It will not rain all weekend. It will not rain all weekend... :D
