How's that for a title? :)

Well, first for the kittens. Bear decided to take up flying last night. Unfortunately, he didn't miss the ground. *sigh* We had the glass window open in the study, and he was trying to catch a moth. Well, he's a bit heavier than he used to be.

Out went the screen, and he rode it right down to the ground. He's fine, the window is fine, and the gouge on my chest (when his brother scared him when he came in) will heal.

*shakes head* One life down, eight to go. Thank the goddess he's not an outdoor cat.

And just watched the season premiere of Stargate SG-1. Holy exploding motherships, Batman! No other spoilers (other than the fact that Daniel Jackson is the CUTEST archeologist EVER), but damn, this is going to be a good season! And I'm definitely loving Cameron Mitchell. He's just as abrasive as O'Neill, and just as funny.

Yay for DVRs!!! No more missing seasons!!!

Tomorrow I get to watch the premiere of Atlantis. Now, granted, I'm going to have to get the entire last seasons of each show, because I have NO idea what's really going on, but hey, I'll figure it out. And they'll be out on DVD soon. :p

Editing today. Got more words yesterday, and I'll post metrics later.
Well, got NO words written yesterday, because the 50-hr work week and drop in temperature finally caught up with me. So I got home after dropping off the rent check and collapsed into the bathtub, then went to bed. Today I got up, and A) it's still raining (and will be for the next god-knows-how-long days), B) the Red Sox game was cancelled (waaahhhhh!) and C) I have no voice. *sigh*

However, to cancel that out, several good things happened as well:

1) We now have DVR!!!! So I can watch SG-1, and Atlantis, and DR. Who and the Red Sox and NOT miss anything! I'm very happy. Any other shows I should pick up? :) Bones is one I want to try, and Supernatural. But I'm already what, 2 seasons behind on Lost? I'll pick that up on DVD. :)

2) It's raining, so I have no excuse not to write.

So, goals today are:

Dreams: 1500 words
Business Sense: Look over [livejournal.com profile] snitchcat's edits and then send the whole thing off to [livejournal.com profile] watermelontail for proofing.
