Well, got 1.5 chapters done yesterday - not bad. But that's not the reason I'm posting today.

I wanted to share with you an email I received from Baron Juan Xavier of Stonemarche (the SCA group I'm a part of) regarding the money raised this past Harpers Retreat. Just to share the spirit of giving that I've always loved about the Society, and how happy I am not only to be a part of it, but to see the rest of the country, at least for this point in time, sharing in the spirit of our Dream.


A check for $600 has been sent to Her Royal Majesty of Meridies for
the Medieval Relief Fund. These monies are contributing toward the
clean up and reestablishing the lives of our friends in the SCA.

Below I have included correspondence between one of the relief
coordinators and myself.
