So I was getting very frustrated last night with the outline, and finally decided to go to sleep and try and work on it this morning. And at some point during the night, I figured out WHY I'm having such issues with it - I'm trying to complicate it too much. I've got too many POVS early on, and basically am making it much harder than I need to. KISS, baby. So I'm going to overhaul it this morning - I have some ideas on how to incorporate what I've already got, and I think this will work. Only time will tell, but I'm feeling much better about it this morning.
I have a fancy dress dinner tonight (and a new gown to wear to it!) so I won't have a lot of metrics this morning, but I might just come home (depending on how drunk![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
woadchic gets me) and write some more. Tomorrow is gym (I slept in today) and laundry and more writing and cooking (argus7hills has promised me MEATLOAF!!!) and taxes and more writing.
