AUTOMATION COORDINATOR - Automation Coordinator Concord Public LibraryConcord, NH
Job Summary: Manages and oversees the library s Innovative Interfaces, Inc. integrated library automation system, public Internet computers, and other technologies; responsible for the overall goal setting, planning, development and implementation of technology services for the library to ensure maximum support of public services and staff functions; responsible for system upgrades and enhancements and is the point person for issues and problems; serves as liaison with hardware and software vendors; oversees maintenance of system hardware and software; partners with City IT on networking, hardware and software; reports directly to the Library Director; is a member of the library s management team; oversees and maintains the library s section of the City web page; coordinates staff IT training; troubleshoots computer problems for users; works at the Reference Desk and is responsible for collection development in specific subject areas.Minimum Qualifications: Master s degree in Library/Information Science accredited by the American Library Association; three years of progressively responsible related experience or any combination of education, training and experience that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities required for the job. Demonstrated experience with automation systems and information technology in a library helpful.
