I need to clean my desk.
Seriously.
My desk at work is a MESS, and I can’t stand it. My desk at my home office - *shudder.* I forsee a lot of cleaning this weekend.
I must be getting older, because this never used to bother me. Either that, or the cleaning we did at![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
aishabintjamil’s mother’s house has REALLY affected me. I just look around my desk and want to scream.
And I need to set up my desk at home again. So I can actually WORK at it. If I were smart (read: technologically-advantaged), I could figure out how to get the internet card in the laptop to work with my system. If I were really smart, I could figure out how to upgrade the desktop so I could access my Thumb Drive from it.
But I’m not. So I’ll just clean the office, and clean my house, and write on my husband’s computer, until I can afford to get him a new computer and take his. :D
So, plans for this weekend:
Saturday: Movie Day! Donna and I are going to see Monster House and, finally, POTC: Dead Man’s Chest. Yeah, yeah, I know. I really should have seen it before this. I’ve been busy!
Sunday: LAUNDRY! And cleaning! And writing! And editing! Not necessarily in that order. :p
I didn’t write at all last night, but I did watch an absolutely hysterical episode of “Good Eats” about poaching. It was very Mission Impossible. I heart Alton Brown.
