The sun is brilliant in a powder-blue sky, and it's supposed to be 60 degrees today! Days like this, I adore the fact that I have a window cubicle. I'm in a wonderful mood, and I hope it continues through the day.

Today is my Friday! My company doesn't work on Good Friday, so my weekend starts at 5:30 pm tonight! I'm very, very excited by this. Not that I'll get to sleep late any day but Saturday - tomorrow, hubby and I are meeting littlest sister for breakfast at 8 am at Chadbourne's, and then I've got a ton of stuff to do: homework, cleaning (my house = UGH!!!) and writing. I'd like to finish Velvet Box this weekend, if I could. I know the story arc, so it's just a matter of writing it.

Today, I'm hoping it's going to be quiet at work - I want to work on Midsummerland and plan my vegetable garden. I've got a ton of seeds to start soon - this weekend, I plan on starting herbs and my lettuce. Mmmm, fresh garden veggies. I bought a massive set of clippers yesterday and am going to attack the stranglevine in my yard Saturday, so I can get the new beds set up.

I love spring. It's so full of promise!

As of 7:44 am EST today, it became spring. Time for a change!

This weekend, I have writer's group on Saturday, so tonight I need to do the reading for that. I think I'll print it out before I leave to go to my Remicade treatment and bring it down to the hospital with me.

Other than that, I need to see Mom and Dad on Sunday to go over some family stuff, and then I need to CLEAN. Spring Cleaning this weekend. There is laundry all over my living room, my dining room looks like a bomb exploded and so does my kitchen. It's a mess. Time to clean!

And if I get the cleaning done? Then I can start seeds. Yay! Gardening, here I come!
