[livejournal.com profile] ursulav was talking about the episode of the Smurfs where they all turned purple and started biting each other, and how it's really a zombie movie. Anyone else remember this episode??? I do, and now I know why zombie movies scare me so. :p (There are links in the comments to the ep in question)

On a completely different note, I love the episode of "Bones" where Booth gives Bones a Brainy Smurf. :D
Otherwise known as New Jersey. :D

Seriously, Mom, Dad and Argus picked me up from work at 1 pm EST on Friday and we were incommunicado until Monday night, so I'm WAYYY behind. The fact that I have spent more time looking at [livejournal.com profile] irysangel's amazingly hysterical zombie faerytales (yes, seriously, go look them up) than writing hasn't helped. That, and I have a paper due Thursday that needs to be written.

Seriously, Quest rocked. [livejournal.com profile] suelder showed up for a bit on Sunday and we got to watch [livejournal.com profile] caitlindancer, [livejournal.com profile] fencerm2 and others fence (no fencing for Val, because of lingering coughing) as we were one of the obstacles in the Quest. It was great - we got to ask every adult team that came up to us, "So, who has the strongest knees?" :D

Next event for us is Midsummers, June 7-9. It will be fun. I will NOT be merchanting. I will, however, be heralding. If you have business, email me at the captain_hobbes addy.

To dos this week:

1. Write paper
2. Get Elements stuff back to [livejournal.com profile] davealaw
3. Finish Seasons
4. Send in quarterly reports
5. laundry
6. cooking

To dos before Midsummers:

1. make new dress
2. menu
3. stuff pillows
4. help [livejournal.com profile] argus7hills make the bed

Oh, and I have to announce the winners of the art contest!!!! I was just waiting to get in touch with the winning artist. :D

And [livejournal.com profile] snitchcat, I bought halters and leashes for my three cats today. We shall see about walking the cats. I promise pictures.
Once again, I am thankful that Dad impressed upon me the importance of sharp pointed objects and carrying them with you. That made dealing with the zombie that attacked my car in the garage when I got to work this afternoon much easier. Remind me to thank [livejournal.com profile] argus7hills if/when I see him again for buying me a new, heavier pirate sword.

Luckily, the badges still worked. Even more luckily, work seems to be deserted, so I'm taking a quick moment to check online. Seems that this is all [livejournal.com profile] madwriter's fault. I think [livejournal.com profile] magicnoire might be up for a trip to kick his butt after we get out of this - what do you think?

Work's been pretty trashed - apparently, the plague struck this morning. Thank god for working nights. Donna and Rick have also survived and made their way in: we have a theory about Michael Jackson music and dancing that we'll try out later. As for right now, we're looking at options. No telling what's going on in the more populated areas of the state.
