In training again. Kind of quiet, so I can get some things done.

- Start writing rough draft

I'm fighting a cold today, so the writing is slow, but this is why I'm a professional. I'll keep going. I have to.

*sigh* Today is going to drag....

(personal) I hate having a compromised immune system

Especially since every single damn cold virus that comes along seems to go "Oh look, honey, what a lovely place to raise children!" and settles down in either my nose or my chest. Or both.

*puts up the "NO VACANCIES!" sign and brews another cup of tea*

(writing) How sad

How sad is it that I'm seriously considering writing the murder mystery? I've never written a mystery before. I've got NO idea what to write it about. No characters. No detective. No body (well, okay, in my writing, bodies are NOT that hard to come by). I blame it on my mother.

Seriously. My mother LOVES murder mysteries and got me hooked at a young age.

So, the mystery is definitely a possibility. Maybe something like Lord Darcy? Magic plus murder?

Definite possibilities.

Haven't started the worldbuilding challenge yet, but here is my meter for the novel writing challenge:

1,270 / 24,000 (5.3%)

Will have worldbuilding tomorrow. Just have to decide if it's going to be Raindrop or Shanghai. I don't think I'm feeling gritty enough to do Phoenix, and my mystery series I think is going to be Vanessa, who I'm really not feeling right now. I'll have to work up to my huntress.
