This post won't be long, but it will be a bit whiny.

I just finished re-reading [livejournal.com profile] tambowrites' last novel, Valley of the Soul, and I'm currently now feeling that

a. I shouldn't ever try and write again

and

b. I won't be able to wait until Stain of Corruption comes out.

Sigh.

Okay, wallowing time is over. Back to work.

P.S. [livejournal.com profile] tambowrites, when is Stain coming out again????? :D

Oh, stop! It's just a book and I hated the damn thing every word I typed. Do not EVER feel bad about your writing after reading my drivel.

Jeesh!

As for Stain of Corruption, I dunno when it'll come out. I have to finish writing it first, and Bantam has to buy it, run it through production... yadda yadda yadda. The earliest would likely be fall of '09. Probably be well after that, though.

I can send you what I have, if you want. It actually isn't much at this point...

Okay, so when I can write drivel like that, I'll be fine. :)

Seriously, I loved the book. It was great. And since I'm having problems with Seasons, it's been good to re-read some good stuff.

Hugs,

I feel like that often, so I've developed a plan.

a/ Stop reading

b/ read, enjoy, study. What is it of that story I loved so much and how do I put that into my own writing. Sort of like a critique.

c/ write and write and write. If I'm not at that level yet, believe I soon will be.

Besides girl, you're published too.

I am, and am now struggling to write the next book. Which is why I bow before people who can successfully write series. Because they're damn hard.
