I'm doing it - giving up. I know I can finish novels, but Novembers always suck for me (I'm in Health and Insurance, what can I say?) And I completely didn't prepare this year.

I'm a planner, not a pantser. So Descent is going on the shelf for a bit, and I'm going to tackle a few other projects.

I'm writing tonight, but I'm working on some outlines. I need to outline the short story for December, and I'm FINALLY going to start working on the serial I've promised my Chronicler ([livejournal.com profile] mossbeloved, please don't tell him I haven't started. Please. I'm begging you. *grin*) And this weekend, I'm going to Kinko's and printing out Dreams so I can start the revision of that. I have to work on Seasons as well the next few months.

So here's my goal for the remainder of November:

1. Outline unnamed Christmas story and start writing.
2. Outline The Birka Chronicles (yes, the title sucks, I know. I'm open to suggestions) and start it.
3. Print Dreams and do the edit outline without the Ellen POV and with only one ghost from the Elephant House.
4. Write 4 chapters of Seasons

And, because I can, a Poll!

I don't have a husband, three cats, hosting Thanksgiving, deadlines and contracts or a job that goes insane in November. All of those reasons are why I do well with Nano.

Don't sweat it and good luck with all that other stuff :)
