(writing) I need some good goals for May

I did no goals for April, and didn't do a lot of writing, sadly. Only 6781 words in the whole month. Better than zero, but not happy about it. Now, yes, I had some health issues (when don't I?) and did a lot of editing. But I need to get the word count up, and I need some stuff done.

So, the goals for May:
- Morning Pages for every day the rest of the month
- 250 words of either worldbuilding, plotting or character sketches every day
- Edit Last Rites

I can do this. It's not really hard goals. And I'll be damned if I don't get at least one other book done this year.

I need content, dammit! And content doesn't just flow from nothing. You have to sit and write it.

My advice: tell our twitter bud CidTyer that you need goals...you can't believe how much more I write now that I'm in a writing group with her. She just WILLS you to do it--and you do! :)

Hehehehe - I dunno, if I do that, I might never get anything else done! But I'll let her know what my goals are - hopefully she can help me!
