A Light Through the Darkness

I did no goals for April, and didn't do a lot of writing, sadly. Only 6781 words in the whole month. Better than zero, but not happy about it. Now, yes, I had some health issues (when don't I?) and did a lot of editing. But I need to get the word count up, and I need some stuff done.

So, the goals for May:
- Morning Pages for every day the rest of the month
- 250 words of either worldbuilding, plotting or character sketches every day
- Edit Last Rites

I can do this. It's not really hard goals. And I'll be damned if I don't get at least one other book done this year.

I need content, dammit! And content doesn't just flow from nothing. You have to sit and write it.

BTW, YTD word count: 43,133

But I forgot to post my count. :)

I'm actually over 16k for November, which is great, considering how badly I've been slacking off. And I'm almost at 50k for the book, which is even better. I might actually get this first draft done by Jan 1 after all.

More later - or maybe tomorrow. I have to work early tomorrow. I have to see 8 A.M. tomorrow.
