It's Tuesday, and boy, do I have a gift for you!!!

My newest short story, The Sun Never Sets, is live at the Tales from the Ministry website!!!

This is a creepy little story (ask [livejournal.com profile] camilla_anna) in the steampunk world of the Ministry of Peculiar Occurances created by Tee Morris and Pip Ballantine. It was a lot of fun to write, more fun to record, and I hope you enjoy it.

As Tee said on Twitter, "You might never look at Big Ben the same again."

And don't forget, on April 26, the Ministry of Peculiar Occurances novel will be available!!! Get a copy - this is an awesome, awesome book.
I honestly thought I'd missed out on this, but it turns out there are THREE days left in Mur Lafferty's Kickstarter program for her Heaven series. Mur is an amazing storyteller, and I've really enjoyed her Heaven series, and was bummed that it wouldn't be available as anything but a podiobook. Which isn't a bad thing, but really, it's another one of those books that SHOULD be available. So she did a Kickstarter program to publish it. Yay! If you haven't heard of Heaven, I highly encourage you go here and check out the Kickstarter project, since LJ won't let me embed the video for some reason. In other news, it's Opening Day at Fenway against the Evil Empire! And I have to work. Boo. :( But in support, I shall wear my Dirty Water sweatshirt and I have the game DVR'd! Go Sox!

(Yes, we're 0-6 right now. It's a sucky start to the season, but it's only 6 games in! We can still turn it around!)
Reposted with permission from [livejournal.com profile] liamstliam's journal:

Life has been very busy lately.

Today is the fifth day in a row I have been writing about Elvis Fest for the local paper. It's been a good run. I have also completed three more resumes for folks. I have a baseball game tomorrow night and a few other assignments on the horizon.

I am now in a position to take on new resume or other writing jobs.

My services include resume tuneups, resume re-writes, new resumes and job-specific resumes

I will also write cover letters.

In addition, if you have formal letters you need written, I can do those.

I do newsletters and other writing assignments.

Photography is another service I offer.

I can do editing.

Social-network coordination is also a skill I have.

My friend [livejournal.com profile] zombiegoat has an entry in Melissa Marr's writing contest. He's a great writer, and I'm helping out by sending people here to read his entry and vote for him! Seriously. I just voted - help him out!
