The result of getting GOOD drugs for the migraine yesterday: a note from the doctor saying, "She is NOT to go to work on Friday." So I get a 4-day weekend. Oh, the horrors.

On the downside, it's snowing. *grump* And that means I need to shovel on my day off. *grump* Well, it's good for me, right?

I have lots I'd like to do today. However, I'm also aware that doing too much will wake the sleeping dragon, aka the migraine that I have JUST beaten back. So it's a wanna do list today, not a to-do list. Does that make sense? It does to me. :P

- Shovel driveway (this one isn't a want-to-do but a have-to-do, sadly) First pass done, and only 1 fall! Go me! Stupid ice.
- Do dishes
- Bake something yummy with the syrups I got on Wednesday from Donna at work nope, decided to make cranberry challah biscotti instead.
- Make turkey stuffs for dinner
- Write
- Play WoW
- Packing list for StellarCon
- Put up my schedule for Stellar
- Magic post
- Editing stories for Spells going to do one a day until March 15 or I'm done, so today's is done!
- Moo cards for StellarCon
- Laundry

Wow, I've got a lovely list there. And that doesn't include the other stuffs I should be doing. So, time for me to move along!
Due to the Blizzard of Doom currently enveloping New England, I am going in late to work today. That's the plan, anyways. If by the time I'm supposed to leave it's still whiteout/nasty conditions, I think I'll call in fully. I do not like driving in the snow - not because I'm bad at it, but because I hate dealing with the macho idiots with their 4-wheel drive who think that because they have 4-wheel drive, they can do 60 on the roads, which is moronic. I do not want to get hit because someone else is driving with their penis.

So I am home, and because my landlord rocks, he and his brother have already done one pass on my driveway with the snowblower. Yay, snowblower! Considering we're supposed to 10-16+ inches here, that makes me very happy. To thank them, I am making banana bread. Totally a fair trade, I think.

Thus, a to-do list!

1. Bake banana bread.
2. Put laundry away.
3. Shovel walk again.
4. Print out stories for S&S edits.
5. Work on dress.

I am hoping to be going to work tonight. Really.

Time for breakfast.

Well, not really a snow day - it's Civil Rights Day here in NH, so I have the day off anyways, but it IS snowing (or it was) and I need to cook for the week. I've gotten some lovely pork chops, and decided to kick off the new blog by cooking some fun stuff today. So while my broccoli and cauliflower roasts, I'm going to set up the blog I'm going to call The Crohns' Gourmet. And then I shall cook for the week. I work Tuesday (which will be uber-busy), Wednesday and Friday. Thursday, I'm hiding inside and writing all day, possibly at the studio, where I shall not be bothered.

Saturday and Sunday will also be mega writing days. I'll write tonight as well, and every night, and I'm going to be using my mornings and lunches at work. I might even bring Puck to work and write for an hour or so each night before going home (which, now that I think about it, is brilliant).

Time to get cooking.

Edited to add: The new blog is live HERE! Feel free to check it out. Also, I have four grilled pork chops, two mammoth chicken breasts and roasted broccoli done, and stuffing in the oven. Excuse me, dressing. (Whatever)
