Today, the day and the night share equal parts of our 24 hours. It's a good day to get things done, and that is what I intend to do today.

I have realized that in order to feel better, I have to do a few things. The biggest? Remember to take my meds. *sigh* I am such a bad patient sometimes. At least I finished my antibiotics on schedule. It's the daily meds I have issues with.

Also, today, I am taking a break from 1 pm to 4 pm to watch my boys play. Wasn't it nice of the Red Sox and MLB to schedule Opening Day on my birthday? So considerate. I can't wait.

So, this is the list, in no particular order:

- Morning Pages
- Dishes
- Email
- Clean up dining room table
- Put away folded laundry
- Wash laundry in basement
- Pagan post
- WWI update post
- Make cranberry muffins except they were brownies. That counts!
- Vacuum living/dining room
- Documents prepared to send out tomorrow
- Clean up kitchen table
- Clean up dining room table
- Edit 3 stories for S&S
- Record The Sun Never Sets
- Record 1 ep of Horseman
- Write 350 words on Tales summary
- Outline week in day planner

There may be more, but that's a good list. I like it. There may also be WoW later, if I want. And swimming, possibly.

Now, off to do dishes, so there can be breakfast.
Well, not really a snow day - it's Civil Rights Day here in NH, so I have the day off anyways, but it IS snowing (or it was) and I need to cook for the week. I've gotten some lovely pork chops, and decided to kick off the new blog by cooking some fun stuff today. So while my broccoli and cauliflower roasts, I'm going to set up the blog I'm going to call The Crohns' Gourmet. And then I shall cook for the week. I work Tuesday (which will be uber-busy), Wednesday and Friday. Thursday, I'm hiding inside and writing all day, possibly at the studio, where I shall not be bothered.

Saturday and Sunday will also be mega writing days. I'll write tonight as well, and every night, and I'm going to be using my mornings and lunches at work. I might even bring Puck to work and write for an hour or so each night before going home (which, now that I think about it, is brilliant).

Time to get cooking.

Edited to add: The new blog is live HERE! Feel free to check it out. Also, I have four grilled pork chops, two mammoth chicken breasts and roasted broccoli done, and stuffing in the oven. Excuse me, dressing. (Whatever)
I know, shocking, right? Although the list isn't that long today, thankfully.

1. Birka meeting, 2 pm, Manchester

2. Laundry

3. Cooking
a. Beef and Rice
b. Baked Pasta and Sausage

4. Grocery store on the way home from Birka Meeting and Mom & Dad's

5. Writing

Yep, that's it.

I'm working my way up to the climax in the outline - got 1379 words yesterday, and I think I might finish the outline today. That's the goal. I need to be in bed by 11 tonight, because I have to be on the phones at 9 am tomorrow (bleah), and I need at least 30 minutes before bed to unwind with no outside stimulation (ie, TV or computer), so I have until 10 pm to do this stuff. It's nearly noon. Time to take over the world.
Yep, pro wrestling. Hubby and I adore watching it - it's so interesting to see the storylines! Really, the creative teams are impressive to me as a writer. And nope, not apologizing at all for that.

Today, I have writer's group at 3 pm, but I need to clean beforehand. Hubby was awesome and let me sleep until 11 am - I'm on my 2nd cup of tea and have had breakfast. Now, I need to start soup going and finish laundry before I head out. No writing today - I'm still in prewrite mode, but I'm bringing the computer with me and I'll upload what I have for Ally and Dan so far today.

I also need to get the press kit that I owe out (guilt, guilt!), finish the back cover for Seasons and do two crits for DII. I might be going on LOA again over there - depends on how family stuff goes. But right now, I want to do some while I can. And I'm working on some lovely gauntlets for a friend that I have to start today.

So here's the to-do list today:

1. Make chicken soup It's actually more like chicken a la king, although it might thin out as it cooks...
2. Fold and put away laundry
3. Put together and email press kit
4. Email Seasons back copy to Gwen
5. 2 crits for DII
6. Upload notes for Midsummer
7. Start Gauntlets
8. Pick up garlic bread

Okay, off to be productive. And I need more tea.
