This is a bit of a mangled post, so forgive me in advance. We're heading out at noon tomorrow for Quest, so there will be no blogging until Monday nightish. But that doesn't mean I won't be around!

I'll be over at Magical Words tomorrow - if you don't follow this blog, you should! [livejournal.com profile] madkestrel interviews me about all sorts of stuff.

I've also signed up for the President's Activity Challenge, thanks to a post from [livejournal.com profile] madwriter. I've signed up for the Active Life challenge - 30 minutes of activity 5 days out of 7 for 5 weeks out of 8. I can do that! Who's with me?

Also, went to see the neurologist today. I went to see them at the beginning of the month and weighed 296 lbs, with blood pressure of 146/88. Today, I was 293 lbs and a blood pressure of 125/77! Go me! The CPAP is amazing, seriously. I also found out why they rushed it out to me - apparently, when I don't have it, my oxygen saturation level (which is supposed to be about 92%) dips to 72%. This is BAD. :D

I got nothin' else. How about you guys?

So yesterday, I decided to walk to the post office, rather than take the car. After all, I reasoned, it's only 1.6 miles each way. How hard can it be?

That depends on how out-of-shape you are. I'm EXTREMELY out-of-shape, as proven by the fact that it took me 2 hours and 20 minutes to do the entire round trip (granted, some of that was post office time, but still!). However, I DID it, and I only napped for 30 minutes afterwards.

I'm still sore, though.

And we have updated tickers!!!

Sorry, folks, it's been a busy weekend! But I crammed a lot in:

30 minutes Thursday (20 minutes walking around neighborhood looking for kitty and putting up posters, 10 minutes walking at work)

30 minutes Friday (20 minutes walking around neighborhood looking for kitty, 10 minutes walking at work)

30 minutes Saturday (setting up for the party!)

1 hr Sunday (gardening!)

10 minutes Monday (walking at work)

My jars have almost a dollar each in them - not bad for a week!

We had activity! I managed to squeeze in a 10-minute walk yesterday, enjoying the sun shine. That means we're up to a dime! Go us!

But I was recovering from Con Crud. I did about 10 minutes of stairs (mostly going up and down with laundry), so we've got our first couple of pennies for SGK!
